President - Craig Brasher, PE, SE, LEED-AP
Background:
While attending Boise State University, Craig worked as a residential designer/drafter in a local design firm. After graduating from Boise State in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Craig began his career as a residential construction manager. Transitioning into structural engineering the following year provided a greater opportunity to pursue an interest in all things engineering and to be involved throughout a project's life.
Craig enjoys being a key partner in design teams that focus on the success of the project and client. A team that leverages their combined experience and expertise to make intelligent design decisions. A team that also maintains that focus through construction, whatever unexpected circumstances arise.
Craig is licensed as a PE civil in multiple states. He also has a Structural Engineer license, allowing him to design buildings of any size and use. He has worked as a consulting engineer since 2007 and spent part of this time as a peer review engineer for the City of Boise. He also helped to write the City of Boise modifications to the IBC snow load requirements and is a member of the City’s code committee. Craig was the project engineer for the cover project of the February 2016 issue of Structure magazine found here: February 2016 Cover Story.
